Today begins my new series,
ON THIS DAY IN NEW YORK THEATRE. I hope to provide a survey of theatre openings on specific days in the 1920s, 1930s, and 1940s as an educational timepasser as we await the end of our Covid-19 crisis, when coverage of live theatre will once again be possible. If all goes well, the series will continue to appear on
TheaterLife.com at least twice a week. Another series, LEITER LOOKS BOOK, will be posted on THEATER PIZZAZZ. I hope you enjoy these excursions into the New York theatre during its golden decades.
