A song and dance revue of Maori tribal music and folk
customs, well sung but less well danced because of the abundant flesh carried
by many performers. The choral numbers were better than the solos. There were
70 New Zealand performers in this touring show.
The program was in two parts, the first arranged around the
theme of Maori history, the second an assortment of divertissements with no
dominant theme.
